As the creators of the world’s only fully temperature-controlled, self-icing ice bath, they’ve built a brand that blends innovation with wellness. From home users to high-performance gyms and spas, Brass Monkey is leading the cold water movement one plunge at a time.

THE

CHALLENGE

Brass Monkey was growing fast. Orders were rolling in, demand was rising, and even celebrity customers were knocking. But behind the scenes, the systems couldn’t keep up.

Everything worked… until it didn’t. Tools like Hubspot, Klaviyo and Shopify weren’t talking to each other, and as the pressure mounted, customers were slipping through the cracks. The brand knew it couldn’t scale with manual processes and disconnected platforms.

They needed to segment their customers properly, separating residential buyers from gyms and spas so they could personalise communications, automate workflows, and create a better experience for everyone. On top of that, they wanted to build out additional revenue streams by promoting their apparel line to customers who might not be ready for an ice bath yet, but still wanted to be part of the movement.

Brass Monkey didn’t just need better tools. They needed a system that could keep up with their ambition.

To help Brass Monkey scale without losing momentum, we started by getting their systems talking to each other. We created a centralised setup that connected Hubspot, Klaviyo and Shopify, allowing data to flow seamlessly and giving the team a complete view of every customer.

With that foundation in place, we built automation that could identify and segment key audiences, separating residential buyers from gyms and spas so that each customer received messaging tailored to their needs and experience.

We also introduced new strategies to help Brass Monkey leverage their existing customer base and community. By promoting their apparel range to warm audiences, we created a way for more people to connect with the brand even if they weren’t ready to invest in an ice bath just yet.

The result was a smarter, more scalable system that allowed Brass Monkey to grow without the growing pains.
